Occupational Therapy
Workplace Injury Recovery in North Dakota
Occupational therapists (OTs) at The Bone & Joint Center deliver care to restore your ability to function and thrive in your everyday tasks.
You may require occupational therapy if you’ve suffered a workplace injury, are learning to deal with permanent disabilities, or are recovering from sports injuries, surgery, stroke, or other health issues.
Our therapists will carefully evaluate your current condition and work/life requirements to create a care plan as well as identify where adjustments may need to be made.
Therapeutic interventions focus on independence in daily life and may include assistance regaining skills surrounding self-care, work, school, or leisure activities. OTs help improve your motor function and offer cognitive and emotional support in the process. In some cases, environmental adjustments may be needed to optimize your performance ability in certain settings, such as an ergonomic chair and desk at your workplace.
Occupational therapy is often combined with physical therapy.
The Bone & Joint Center is proud to have more licensed and credentialed occupational therapists on its staff than any other orthopedic practice in the entire state of North Dakota.
