ACL Tear

An ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) tear is a prevalent knee injury, often occurring during sports activities. It involves the partial or complete tearing of the ACL, a vital ligament that stabilizes the knee joint. Symptoms of an ACL tear include severe pain, swelling, and instability in the knee, making it difficult to bear weight. Treatment options may include rest, physical therapy, and, in some cases, surgical reconstruction of the ACL. Additionally, an ACL brace may be recommended to provide support and protect the knee during the healing process or to support individuals with chronic instability.

Rotator Cuff Tear

The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons surrounding the shoulder joint, playing a crucial role in shoulder movement and stability. A torn rotator cuff is a common injury characterized by damage to these tendons, resulting in pain and limited range of motion. Treatment options for a torn rotator cuff often include rest, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, and, in some cases, surgical repair.

Proper diagnosis and timely intervention are essential for effective rotator cuff treatment, aiming to alleviate discomfort and restore shoulder function. Whether it's a torn rotator cuff or other shoulder issues, seeking professional care is vital for a successful recovery and improved quality of life.

Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint, which progressively limits its range of motion. Treatment for frozen shoulder typically involves a combination of therapies. These may include physical therapy, gentle stretching exercises, anti-inflammatory medications, and corticosteroid injections to alleviate pain and inflammation.

In some cases, manipulation under anesthesia or arthroscopic surgery may be considered to release the tightened joint capsule and improve mobility.

Sportsmetrics™ Injury Prevention & Performance Training

We now offer Sportsmetrics™, a scientifically proven injury prevention and performance training program for men and women over the age of 12. Sportsmetrics stands as one of the most extensive programs of its kind, demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing knee ligament injuries, including ACL tears, particularly among female athletes. However, it's important to note that athletes of all genders can reap the advantages of this exclusive training program.
