Michael R. Moore, MD
Dr. Michael R. Moore is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Oregon and an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After completing a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California-San Diego, he completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric spine surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is the only surgeon in North Dakota certified by the American Board of Spine Surgery. Since 2007, Dr. Moore has also served on the Board of Directors and is an examiner for the American Board of Spine Surgery.

Dr. Moore specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of spinal disorders in adults and children. He has done original research in various areas of spinal disorders and has authored 10 published articles in research journals and 5 chapters in textbooks of spine surgery. He has presented 32 papers at research meetings and has delivered over 60 lectures on spine surgery in the United States and Europe. Dr. Moore is considered a pioneer in the treatment of sacroiliac joint conditions and was invited to serve as Visiting Professor of Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago where he lectured on surgical treatment of sacroiliac problems.

Dr. Moore also serves on the Board of Directors for North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance and has an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American College of Spine Surgery, the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
